Legal Speed Racing App Reviews
Thgis was my first game purchase from the App Store. I am using a late 2011 MacBook Pro. I ran the game in "Beautiful" mode, and the game action was fluid and not pixelated. AS regards the controls themselves, I recommend the deveoper provide an option for auto braking, or let the player hit the space bar to slow on corners. This is entire cursor control driven. I chose the Career to start with, I did the four lap race in last place, and this was mostly due to the lack of auto braking. My 6 year old son said it looked "great" on screen.
This game is pretty much for 6 year-olds and under. I thought at first that I was going to get more realitsic physics and DRIFTING! PLease read this: PROS: Nice sprints Ok design No auto-braking CONS: TERRIBLE PHYSICS! Let me explain: With the "tuned" cars, I stalled at 160 m/h, and I had to wait 10 seconds before it shifted into top gear. Also, the handling of the cars were terrible! I turned a hairpin bend and my car turned it too tight, and the next time, EXACTLY the same way, I sent it into the corner, I hit the outside wall. Please fix this ASAP. Also, the acceleration of these cars are unrealistic. When accelerating from a standstill, I thought that I was moving a lead brick. At speed (40 mph), and accelerating, the acceleration was much quicker. The handling is more sensitive the faster you go, whereas it should be the other way around. Copied/pasted car parts Car 1. Toyota Celica/Honda CRX Car 2. Ford Focus/Dodge Durango Car 3. Subaru Impreza/Lancer Evo IX Car 4. Audi TT/Nissan 350Z Car 5. Ford Mustang/Dodge Challenger Car 6. Lamborghini Murcilago/Acura NSX The "tuned" versions of these cars are just the same cars with fake carbon and spoilers and bodykits attached to it. EXTREMELY long Carreer mode; gets boring after about 5 races. The last Time Attack event (the really long racetrack in what is supossed to be "Austrailia", but is a ripoff of the TORCS track, Spring) is IMPOSSIBLE. I have tried so many times to complete it, and all of my attempts at it were 10 seconds slower than the time limit. Please fix this ASAP. Please do not get this game. Not worth the money to pay for this, and this is coming from someone who had 5 years of actual racing experence. Thank you for your time reading this.
